SUNDAY CHURCH SERVICE

North Rockhampton Anglican is a church seeking to love and follow Jesus Christ, as we listen to God's word in the Bible.
We welcome people from all walks of life and all parts of the world.
We believe that in the Bible God speaks a message of hope and forgiveness that is life-giving and life-changing – for us, and for everyone.
Please come and join us!

We meet every Sunday at 8:30am

Our morning service welcomes people of all ages and stages.

Meeting every Sunday at 8:30am, from the very young to the "not-so-young, but young-at-heart". The morning service is an inter-generational congregation. We sing together, say prayers together, hear God's word together, and celebrate everyone's birthdays together!

The service offers a Sunday School for children. It runs during the sermon.

The Young Adults Bible Study meets in the church building at 6pm on Sundays.

The Young Adults Bible Study involves young men and women in their 20s and 30s.
We regularly have visitors and guests, including those who are exploring Christianity.

Everyone is welcome and invited to join us for dinner, as we share a meal and life from 6pm. The Bible study begins at 7pm. We try to finish promptly by 8pm, so that young workers can still be fresh for an early start at work on Monday morning.

Philippians is a favourite letter for many Christians. It contains many famous  phrases that inspire many, such as "Rejoice in the Lord always" and "I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
But, more importantly, Philippians also teaches us about being partners in the gospel.
Through this model church of the New Testament, we learn to be partners with Christ in the work of salvation, as well as partners with each other in giving, praying and serving. Not only that, the Apostle Paul warns us not to be partners with false teachers who oppose the gospel.
We have much we can learn from this small, poor, yet faithful church in Philippi!
